Both sides express their commitment to successfully concluding the negotiations as soon as possible

Islamabad: Formal negotiations have begun between Pakistan and the United States on mutual tariffs, where the Federal Minister for Finance and the US Trade Representative held discussions via video conference.
According to a statement issued by the Federal Ministry of Finance, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and US Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer held talks via telephone and video conference.
The statement said that both parties exchanged views in a constructive environment and agreed to hold detailed technical-level negotiations in the coming weeks.
The Ministry of Finance stated that both sides expressed their commitment to successfully concluding the negotiations as soon as possible.
