5.8 magnitude earthquake hits Marmaris, southwestern Turkiye

Marmaris: Earthquakes have hit various countries, including Turkiye and Greece.

According to foreign media, the Turkish Interior Minister has said that there was no report of damage to buildings in residential areas due to the earthquake.

The Turkish Interior Minister has further said that a 14-year-old girl died due to fear of the earthquake.

Disaster and Emergency Management officials have said that the earthquake tremors were felt at 2:17am.

The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, and the earthquake tremors were felt in Turkey, Greece, and countries in the nearby region.
