Sindh and local govts are being unfair to dumper transport


Karachi: The Dumpers Truck Transport Owners Association announced that they will not pick up garbage from Karachi on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
Association President Liaquat Mehsud said in his video statement that the Dumper Association will not pick up garbage from Karachi city this year.
He stated that 20 to 25 of their vehicles have been burned by miscreants, and compensation has not been paid yet. In this regard, he has also written a request to all the relevant institutions, including the Commissioner Karachi. The Sindh government and local government are being unfair to the dumper transport.
It is pertinent to note that after several citizens were killed in accidents involving dumpers and tankers in Karachi, there were incidents of burning dumpers and tankers in the city.
