Millions of pilgrims to perform Wukuf-e-Arafat today

Mecca: The rituals of Hajj have begun with the sounds of Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk. On the occasion of the main pillar of Hajj, the Hajj sermon for Muslims around the world will be translated and broadcast in 35 different international languages ​​this year, so that millions of Muslims around the world can understand this message directly.

Millions of pilgrims have stayed in Mina. Pilgrims will reach the Arafat plain today for the main pillar of Hajj and offer the Zuhr and Asr prayers after listening to the Hajj sermon on 9th Dhul-Hijjah. Then the pilgrims will stand in the Arafat plain until sunset.

After the Maghrib call to prayer, the pilgrims will leave for Muzdalifah from the plain of Arafat without praying. In Muzdalifah, the pilgrims will pray Maghrib and Isha prayers together. The pilgrims will collect pebbles to hit the devil. Then, the pilgrims will spend the night in Muzdalifah under the open sky. On Dhul-Hijjah 10, after standing in Muzdalifah, they will leave for the stoning.

The pilgrims will throw seven pebbles at the great devil and offer a sacrifice. The pilgrims will remove their ihram after shaving their heads. On Dhul-Hijjah 11, the pilgrims will throw seven pebbles at the small, medium, and big devils.

After the stoning of the Jamarat, the pilgrims will leave for the Kaaba for the Tawaf of pilgrimage. After this, the pilgrims will make a pilgrimage to Safa and Marwa. On Dhul-Hijjah 12, after sunset, the three devils will be stoned.

On Dhul-Hijjah 13, pilgrims will leave Mina for their homes after stoning the Jamarat.
