Trump has repeated ceasefire between Pakistan and India dozen times

Washington: US President Donald Trump once again reiterated his desire to play a central role in the ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
During a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Mertz at the White House, President Trump said that he is proud to have brokered a ceasefire between the two nuclear-armed states, and told both countries that if they fire, there will be no trade.
President Trump stated that Pakistan has a powerful leadership.
It is pertinent to note that President Trump has repeated the ceasefire between Pakistan and India a dozen times.
Every time they hear this, the Modi government gets angry, and at the same time, the Indian opposition, the Congress, has another opportunity to mock Modi.
Last month, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri completely denied American efforts in a ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, while briefing a parliamentary committee, said that the India-Pakistan ceasefire was strictly bilateral, and US President Trump had no role in it.
The Indian Foreign Secretary stated that Trump did not seek our permission to intervene; he himself wanted to come on stage, and he did.
It is pertinent to note that on May 10, Donald Trump himself had announced on his social media platform, Truth Social, that Pakistan and India had agreed to a ceasefire.
