Ban has been enforced under Section 144


Peshawar: On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, a complete ban will be imposed on boating and swimming in rivers in the provincial capital Peshawar, as well as in Nowshera and Charsadda, to prevent accidents.
According to Commissioner Peshawar Division, Riaz Khan Mehsud, the ban has been enforced under Section 144. Police and Civil Defense personnel will be deployed to ensure compliance with the ban.
Additionally, orders have been issued to the district administrations of Peshawar, Nowshera, and Charsadda to prevent the overcharging of tickets in recreational parks.
Instructions have also been given to the police to enhance security in recreational parks and prevent inappropriate behavior. On Eid al-Adha, no park administration will be allowed to charge unauthorized or inflated ticket prices.
