Day temperature is expected to be 4 to 7 degrees Celsius higher than normal


Lahore: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that the country will experience extremely hot conditions during the Eid holidays.
According to the Meteorological Department, the day temperature is expected to be 4 to 7 degrees Celsius higher than normal in Islamabad, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir from today to June 12.
On Friday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Sibi at 48 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, Dadu recorded 47 degrees Celsius, Nawabshah 46, Multan, Sargodha, Hyderabad 42, Lahore, Peshawar 40, Islamabad, Muzaffarabad 39, and Karachi, Quetta, and Gilgit 36 degrees Celsius.
