Iranian official called banning entry to US as deep hostility towards Iranians and Muslims


Tehran: Iran has described US President Donald Trump's decision to impose a travel ban on citizens of 12 countries, including Iran, as a deep hostility against Muslims and Iranians.
A senior Iranian Foreign Ministry official said in a statement that banning the entry of Iranian citizens based solely on religion and nationality not only shows the US decision-makers' deep hostility towards the Iranian people and Muslims but also violates international law.
It is pertinent to note that under the order issued by Trump on Wednesday, citizens of 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen, will be banned from entering the US from next week.
