Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the wishes of Kashmiri people and UN resolutions


Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the solution to the Kashmir issue should be in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people and UN resolutions, and the brave struggle of the Kashmiris will never be forgotten.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the Line of Control (LoC) and celebrated Eid with the soldiers deployed on the front lines.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, the Army Chief offered Eid prayers along with the soldiers and prayed for the safety of the country and the nation. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the sacrifices of the martyrs, and the resolve to defend the motherland was reiterated.
ISPR stated that Asim Munir appreciated the courage and professionalism of the soldiers and said that the killing of the children, women, and elders of the nation was avenged boldly.
The Field Marshal paid tribute to the soldiers for their exemplary performance in Marka-e-Haq and Operation Banyan Marsus and appreciated the readiness of the soldiers for effectively responding to Indian ceasefire violations.
The Field Marshal said that the solution to the Kashmir issue should be in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people and UN resolutions, and the heroic struggle of the Kashmiris will never be forgotten.
