Hamas will no longer rule Gaza and must hand over its weapons to Palestinian security forces


Gaza: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called on the Hamas resistance movement to surrender.
According to foreign media, in a letter written to French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, President Mahmoud Abbas called for the deployment of Arab and international forces to protect the Palestinian people.
According to the report, Mahmoud Abbas said in his letter that Hamas will no longer rule Gaza and must hand over its weapons and military capabilities to the Palestinian security forces.
In his letter, he said that he is ready to invite Arab and international forces to be deployed in Palestine as part of a stabilization and security mission with a mandate from the United Nations Security Council.
It is pertinent to note that Mahmoud Abbas has written this letter at a time when French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman are jointly going to hold a conference this month on the establishment of a Palestinian state.
