ASF recovers 888 grams of crystal meth (Ice) from a passenger traveling to Bahrain

Islamabad: The Airport Security Force (ASF) has foiled a drug smuggling attempt at Islamabad International Airport, recovering 888 grams of crystal meth (Ice) from a passenger traveling to Bahrain.
During the operation, ASF personnel discovered the drugs hidden inside the luggage of a passenger identified as Shoaib Ali Bakhsh. The narcotics were skillfully concealed within a trolley bag.
ASF staff flagged the baggage during the scanning process and, upon a thorough inspection, recovered the hidden drugs, successfully thwarting the smuggling attempt.
Following a preliminary investigation, the suspect was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials along with the recovered crystal meth.
