Draft calls for reducing tensions in Israel-Iran conflict


Washington: US President Donald Trump will not sign the G7 summit declaration on Israel-Iran tensions.
According to the news agency, a US official said that President Trump will not sign the declaration of the G7 summit to be held in Canada, the draft of which calls for reducing tensions in the Israel-Iran conflict.
According to the news agency, the draft declaration also states that Iran should never have nuclear weapons. Israel has the right to defend itself.
The draft also includes a pledge to protect market stability, including energy markets.
In a conversation with the British Prime Minister on the sidelines of the G7 summit, Trump said that Iran should sign the agreement, and that he is going to ensure that Iran does not have nuclear weapons.
On the other hand, President Trump has decided to cut short his participation in the G7 summit in Canada and return home. He will return to Washington today and attend to important matters.
It is pertinent to note that the G7 summit began on June 15 and will end today.
