Islamabad: The foreign ministers of 21 Muslim countries, including Pakistan, have condemned the Israeli attack on Iran and termed it a clear violation of the UN Charter and international law.

The statement said that the Israeli attacks on Iran since June 13 are a clear violation of the UN Charter and international law.
The joint statement emphasized respect for the principles of territorial sovereignty, integrity, and neighborliness and called for immediate steps to end tensions and establish a ceasefire in the Middle East.
The joint statement added that dangerous tensions pose serious threats to peace and stability in the region, and there is an urgent need to establish a Middle East free of nuclear and other deadly weapons.
The joint statement urged all countries to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and said that attacks on nuclear facilities under IAEA supervision were a violation of international law.
The statement stated that the resumption of negotiations for a lasting agreement on the Iranian nuclear program was the only way forward, while highlighting the importance of maritime security and freedom of navigation in international waterways.
