'Love Guru' earns Rs550mn
Film is being screened in more than 60 cinemas across country


Lahore: The romantic comedy film ‘Love Guru’, released on Eid-ul-Adha, has done a brilliant business of Rs550 million.
The film is being praised by the audience locally and internationally, and is fast becoming one of the highest-grossing Pakistani films of the year.
‘Love Guru’ is being screened in more than 60 cinemas across the country, where a large number of fans are heading to watch the film.
The film has been shot in London, where Mahira Khan is shown in the role of a beautiful, bold, and artsy girl, while Humayun Saeed is seen in a character who is an expert in trapping different girls in his love trap.
‘Love Guru’ is directed by renowned filmmaker Nadeem Baig, while the story is written by Wasay Chaudhry. The lead roles of the film are played by Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan.
Along with romance, it has also included Pashto and Punjabi-tinged humor, which entertains the audience.
According to the makers of the film, ‘Love Guru’ is getting a great response from the audience, and the success of the film is being considered a positive sign for the revival of Lollywood cinema.
‘Love Guru’ has done a total business of Rs550 million, Rs290 million in Pakistan, and Rs260 million worldwide.
