Chaudhry Tanveer is named in Chaudhry Adnan murder case


Rawalpindi: Police arrested former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senator Chaudhry Tanveer from the premises of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench.
Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan had rejected Chaudhry Tanveer’s bail application and issued an immediate arrest order, after which he was arrested from the court premises.
After his arrest, the PML-N leader is being transferred to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology for a medical examination.
It is pertinent to note that Chaudhry Tanveer is named in the Chaudhry Adnan murder case, for which he had filed a pre-arrest bail application.
The case of Chaudhry Adnan's murder was registered at the Civil Lines police station on the evening of February 12.
