‘Around 1,000 Chinese citizens remain in Iran’

(Web Desk): A spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that 800 Chinese nationals have been relocated to safer locations, while around 1,000 Chinese citizens remain in Iran. No casualties or injuries among Chinese citizens have been reported during the conflict.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning stated that some Chinese nationals have also been safely evacuated from Israel. So far, 791 individuals have been moved to secure locations from Iran, with evacuation efforts for over 1,000 others still underway.
The spokesperson further noted that Chinese citizens had already left Israel earlier, and there have been no reports of Chinese nationals being killed or injured during the hostilities. China had previously issued advisories for its citizens to leave both Iran and Israel amid escalating tensions.
