A large number of interested bidders are taking part in the auction

(Web Desk): The open auction of toll plazas on the country’s busiest highways is being held by the National Highway Authority (NHA) at the Jinnah Convention Centre.
According to the NHA spokesperson, a total of 72 toll plazas have been scheduled for public auction. To ensure transparency, the media has been specially invited, and NHA Chairman Shehryar Sultan is personally overseeing the process.
The auction is being conducted on the special directives of the Prime Minister and the Minister for Communications, with a focus on transparency and ease of participation. A large number of interested bidders are taking part in the auction.
For the first time, participants have praised the NHA for holding an open auction. They remarked that a transparent public auction will boost investor confidence, and that investors and business stakeholders are pleased with this initiative.
