Rain continues intermittently in Rawalpindi


Islamabad/Rawalpindi: The heavy rain in Rawalpindi and Islamabad has made the weather pleasant, and the heat wave has also broken.
The rain is continuing intermittently in Rawalpindi, as 15 mm of rain was recorded in Shamsabad, and 27 mm of rain was recorded in Saidpur.
The rain has reduced the heat and humidity.
According to the WASA department, the water flow in the Nala Lai is normal, and arrangements are complete in view of the rain.
The WASA department says that staff and machinery have been deployed in low-lying areas, and a rain emergency has been imposed in Rawalpindi.
On the other hand, drizzle occurred in the II Chand-e-Dak Road, Saddar, and MA Jinnah Road areas of Karachi in the early morning.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain hot and humid in most parts of the country today. However, rain may occur in Islamabad, upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
