Police arrest four dumper drivers, seize two trucks

(Web Desk): A video has surfaced showing dumper truck drivers assaulting a motorway police officer near Bahatar on GT Road.
In the video, several individuals can be seen wielding sticks and iron rods while attacking the uniformed officer, who is also seen pleading for his life. Despite his pleas, the attackers continue the assault, forcing the lone officer to flee and take refuge inside a shop.
According to police officials, the motorway police team was conducting an anti-overloading operation against dumper trucks when around 40 drivers and workers resisted. About 15 to 20 drivers physically assaulted the officer.
Led by a DSP, the motorway police team rescued the besieged officer and took four dumper drivers into custody. Two dumper trucks were also seized.
Motorway Police stated that legal action is being taken against those involved in resisting police, assaulting law enforcement, and obstructing official duties.
