Due to clear weather, new moon will be easily sighted

Islamabad: Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has predicted the moon of Muharram 1447 AH.
According to SUPARCO, the moon of Muharram 1447 AH is likely to be sighted on Thursday, June 26.
Due to the clear weather, the new moon will be easily sighted. According to the SUPARCO spokesperson, the first of Muharram 1447 AH is expected to be on June 27.
The birth of the new moon will be on June 25 at 3:32pm, while the age of the moon at sunset on Thursday, June 26, will be 28 hours and 15 minutes.
According to the spokesperson, there will be a gap of 75 minutes between sunset and moonset in the coastal areas of the country, which will provide the best conditions for moon sighting.
However, if the moon is sighted on June 26, then Muharram 9, 1447 AH will be on Saturday, July 5, and the Day of Ashura Muharram 10 will be on Sunday, July 6.
