Field Marshal said that Major Moeez Abbas was martyred while fighting bravely


Rawalpindi: The funeral prayers of Major Moeez Abbas, who was martyred in a clash with the Indian-sponsored Fitna-ul-Khawarij in South Waziristan, have been offered.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Pakistan Army, the funeral prayers of Major Syed Moeez Abbas Shah were offered at Chaklala Garrison Rawalpindi, where Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and top military officials attended.
On this occasion, the Army Chief said that Major Syed Moeez Abbas was martyred while fighting bravely. He sacrificed his life while performing his duty and established high traditions of bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism.
The Army Chief stated that the entire nation stands with the martyr’s family and salutes their sacrifice for the defense of the homeland.
Field Marshal Asim Munir added that we are indebted to the martyrs, their blood is the foundation of the nation’s stability.
According to the ISPR, Major Moeez was martyred while fighting against foreigners in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan. His body was sent to his native area for burial with full military honors.
