Foreign woman's body abandoned at Lahore's private hospital

Lahore: Two people, said to be foreigners, abandoned foreign woman’s body at a private hospital in Nishtar Colony and fled, police said on Thursday.

According to police, the suspects, who left the body, included an unidentified man and woman. The duo, traveling in a car, left the body of a 40-year-old woman in a wheelchair before fleeing the scene.

The suspects are also believed to be foreign nationals of African origin. An investigation has been launched with the help of CCTV footage and other evidence.

Police suspect that the woman may have died due to a drug overdose. The body has been taken into custody and sent for a post-mortem examination.
