Runway will remain closed during the morning hours

Lahore: During the monsoon season, it has been decided to temporarily close Lahore Airport during specific hours starting from July 1.
A meeting was held regarding the partial closure of the runway at Lahore Airport, during which the presence of birds around the airport during the monsoon season was discussed.
It was decided that from July 1 to September 15, the runway will remain closed during the morning hours, specifically from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM, due to the increased presence of birds.
All airlines have been instructed to revise their flight schedules accordingly, taking into account the availability of check-in counters and aircraft parking bays.
