Iran’s strikes shattered Zionist regime: Khamenei

Tehran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has stated that the United States gained no success by joining Israel’s war against Iran.

In a televised address, Ayatollah Khamenei said the US intervened in the war because it feared Israel would be destroyed if it didn’t. However, its involvement brought no real achievement. He claimed that while the US targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities, it was largely ineffective. He also criticized former US President Donald Trump, saying his actions were more about showmanship.

Khamenei further stated that Iran’s ability to reach major US military bases is a significant accomplishment and warned that if aggression is repeated, Iran will respond again in the future.

He recalled Trump’s past statement suggesting that Iran should surrender its weapons, saying, "Our enemies want us to lay down our arms, but we will never do so."

The Supreme Leader also claimed that despite bold declarations, the Zionist regime was shattered in Iran’s attacks, and warned that those who commit aggression against Iran will continue to pay a heavy price.

Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated the Iranian people on what he described as a victory over the Zionist regime, praising the 90-million-strong nation for standing united and firmly behind its armed forces.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that the Guardian Council has approved a parliamentary bill suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
