Bilawal also praises national media's coverage during Pakistan-India war

(Web Desk): Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that in the five-day war against India, Pakistan achieved victory not just on the battlefield but on three different fronts.
During a press conference in Islamabad, Bilawal said, "I divide Pakistan’s victory in the war against India into three parts: Pakistan achieved remarkable success on the diplomatic front, won the narrative battle, and also defeated India on the war front."
The PPP chairman added, "We were told that India is a bigger country, with resources seven times greater than ours, and friendly relations with superpowers. Yet, Pakistan, purely in its defense, brought down six of their aircraft, defeating such a powerful nation."
He said that during the situation following the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan’s diplomats and Foreign Office representatives played a historic role on the diplomatic front. "On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, we worked hard to convey Pakistan’s stance to the world, and eventually, the world acknowledged our position."
He further said that there was another major front — the battle of narratives — and "we can proudly say that Pakistan emerged victorious in that as well."
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also praised the national media's coverage during the Pakistan-India conflict, stating, "The role of Pakistani media during the war was remarkable. The credibility of Pakistani media was recognized internationally, while the world saw how Indian media was spreading lies compared to the truth being reported by Pakistani media."
In response to a question, he said, "When India falsely accused Pakistan over the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan did not deny its past. However, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif immediately took a major step by demanding an independent and impartial investigation into the incident — a step from which India backed out."
The PPP chairman added that India, alongside military aggression, was also continuously lying on diplomatic fronts, attempting to mislead the international community.
He said, "India falsely told several countries that Pakistan attacked them, while we responded by saying that Pakistan has only acted in self-defense by shooting down six aircraft — and we have yet to respond fully."
