Alkhidmat Foundation hosts national training workshop to expand 'Bano Qabil Initiative'
Moot focuses on strengthening core operational areas including academics, branding, job placement, monitoring and evaluation and volunteer coordination


Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan successfully concluded a two-day National Training Workshop in Lahore as part of its flagship Bano Qabil program the country’s largest IT skills development initiative.
The workshop brought together district and regional representatives, trainers, education specialists, and operations teams from across the nation to align strategic goals and enhance the program's delivery.
The workshop focused on strengthening core operational areas including academics, branding, job placement, monitoring and evaluation, and volunteer coordination. Participants also presented performance reviews and shared key recommendations to further streamline program delivery across all regions.
Addressing the closing session, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Patron-in-Chief of the Bano Qabil program, remarked:
> “With the power of skilled youth, we will bring a revolution in every province and district to build a prosperous, skilled Pakistan.”
He emphasized that the Bano Qabil program is empowering young Pakistanis by equipping them with in-demand, globally recognized IT skills, thus enabling them to achieve self-reliance and secure dignified livelihoods.
President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, highlighted the broader vision behind the initiative, stating:
> “Bano Qabil is not merely a program; it is instilling new confidence among Pakistan’s youth. We are fully prepared to extend its reach to every tehsil through collaborative efforts.”
During the workshop, key sessions were led by senior officials including Syed Waqas Jafri (Secretary General, Alkhidmat), Shahid Iqbal (CEO, Bano Qabil), Umair Idrees (Director, Bano Qabil), Raja Haris (Coordinator, Web Portal Operations), and Farooq Kamalani (Lead Trainer), among others.
Currently offering 28 specialized IT courses, the Bano Qabil initiative covers a broad range of fields such as digital marketing, web and app development, e-commerce, graphic design, cloud computing, 3D animation, and video editing. These courses are strategically designed to meet the needs of the global job market.
The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony recognizing the commitment and contributions of participants. With its growing national footprint and a mission rooted in youth empowerment, Bano Qabil continues to pave the way for a digitally skilled, economically resilient Pakistan.
