Karachi: The services of doctors temporarily recruited during the COVID-19 epidemic in Sindh have been terminated. The Sindh Health Department has dismissed 279 medical officers and non-SPSC doctors appointed on a 79-day contract.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh Health Department, dozens of doctors are included in the list of female medical officers. The doctors were posted in DHO Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, and Naushahro Feroze.
According to the Sindh Health Department (Sindh Public Service Commission), there is no need for officers appointed without SPSC anymore; the doctors were instructed to resign before June 30 through the notification.
