LHC Justice Farooq Haider approves Sanam Javed’s bail application and order her to submit surety bond of Rs0.5m


Lahore: Social media activist Sanam Javed has been released on bail from Kot Lakhpat Jail on Wednesday.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) had ordered her release after fulfilling legal requirements and she was finally freed from jail. When she came out of jail premises, she was showered with flower petals.
It is worth noting that on April 27, Sanam Javed was arrested by FIA authorities in charges of defaming national institutions.
Initially, Sanam Javed’s bail plea was rejected by the lower court after that she approached the LHC for her release on bail.
Justice Farooq Haider of LHC approved her bail application and order her to submit surety bond of Rs0.5 million.
