Suspects have been handed over to the investigation police for further inquiry


Karachi: Police in Karachi arrested six fake police officers dressed in uniforms during a patrol near Masjid Toor Hanif in Defence Phase 8.
According to SHO Sahil Iftikhar Ahmed Arain, the police team was on patrol when they spotted six individuals on three motorcycles dressed in police uniforms and found them to be acting suspiciously.
When asked to show their service cards during questioning, the individuals refused and admitted they were not real police officers. They confessed that they had worn the uniforms just for fun to make TikTok videos and to impress the public.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Shehryar Khan (son of Muhammad Shahid Khan), Muhammad Rizwan (son of Muhammad Zubair), Yousuf Khan (son of Ameen Khan), Noor Faraz (son of Gul Faraz), Muhammad Kashif (son of Nazir Khan), and Hammad (son of Wazirzada). Three motorcycles were also recovered from their possession.
A case has been registered against the fake officers under FIR No. 25/162, and investigations have begun. The suspects have been handed over to the investigation police for further inquiry.
