Russia fires 539 drones and missiles

(Web Desk): Russia has carried out the most intense airstrike in the past three years on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. This assault involved the highest number of drones used in a single attack so far, along with cruise and ballistic missiles.
The sheer scale of the attack is evident from the fact that it lasted continuously for 13 hours. In Kyiv, one civilian was killed and 23 others injured. The attack also destroyed five ambulances, two railway stations, and several residential buildings.
As a result, thousands of people were forced to spend the entire night in shelters, metro stations, and underground parking lots. As of now, the skies over Kyiv are still filled with smoke and the stench of gunpowder. It was one of the most horrifying nights the city has witnessed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also described it as one of the largest airstrikes to date. He noted that the wave of attacks began just as reports emerged about a phone conversation between former U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It is worth noting that Trump reportedly spoke with Putin for about an hour, later commenting that he was very disappointed, as Russia does not appear willing to end the war.
