Flooding may occur in some parts of Punjab and Balochistan


Torrential rains were reported in Islamabad and Rawalpindi at night, while light rains were reported in various parts of Karachi.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and the Potohar region from today to July 10.
Flooding may occur in some parts of Punjab and Balochistan, while there is a risk of urban flooding in low-lying areas of Nowshera and Peshawar.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a risk of landslides in mountainous areas from July 6 to 8. This system is not likely to bring rain to Sindh, including Karachi.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a risk of flooding in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the melting of glaciers in KP and Gilgit-Baltistan.
