Season will begin on August 15 with the Hanif Mohammad Trophy


Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the domestic cricket calendar.
According to the schedule, the season will begin on August 15 with the Hanif Mohammad Trophy.
Twelve teams will participate in the Hanif Mohammad Trophy, with matches to be held in Quetta and Karachi. The top two teams from the tournament will qualify for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy will be played from September 22 to November 7, featuring eight teams, with 29 matches scheduled to take place in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The National T20 Tournament will be held from March 1 to 12 in Faisalabad, and a qualifying round has also been introduced for the National T20.
Ten teams will compete in the National T20 Qualifier, with the top two advancing to the Super 10 stage.
The Super 10 will feature eight teams that have qualified directly: Karachi Whites, Lahore Whites, Peshawar, Karachi Blues, Sialkot, Islamabad, and Faisalabad.
In addition, four departmental tournaments will be part of this season. Regional tournaments for Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 categories have also been scheduled.
