Pension increase will apply to pensioners who retire on or after July 1, 2025


Islamabad: The federal government has increased the pensions of government employees by 7%.
According to the notification, the 7 percent rise in pension will apply to retired civilians, armed forces personnel, and civil armed forces pensioners.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the pension increase will apply to pensioners who retire on or after July 1, 2025.
According to the notification of the Ministry of Finance, all vacancies that have been vacant for the last 3 years have been abolished, while the ban on new vacancies will remain in place.
In addition, the ban on the purchase of all types of government vehicles, machinery, equipment, treatment outside the country at government expense, and unnecessary foreign trips at government expense will continue in the current financial year.
