Incident appears to be result of longstanding personal feud

Tank: Armed assailants attacked a house in the Mullazai area of Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, killing three people, including two brothers.
According to police, the incident appears to be the result of a longstanding personal feud. Armed men stormed a house in Mullazai village and opened indiscriminate fire, killing three individuals on the spot.
An FIR was registered on the complaint of the victims’ father. According to the report, the family was asleep when they heard gunfire.
Upon rushing outside, he saw six individuals shooting at his sons before fleeing the scene. When he reached the guest room, he found all three had succumbed to their injuries.
The police have registered a case under Sections 148, 149, 302, and 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and have launched proceedings against the six named suspects.
The bodies have been moved to the District Hospital in Tank for medical and legal formalities. The police added that the suspects fled the scene, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend them.
Prior to this incident, several violent clashes linked to family disputes and old enmities have been reported in various parts of KP, resulting in numerous casualties.
