Flights were diverted to alternative airports due to bad weather


Lahore: Heavy rains in various cities of the country have severely affected air operations, resulting in delays in the arrival and departure of several flights and cancellations of some.
According to media reports, three flights were diverted to alternative airports due to bad weather, while three flights were canceled and dozens of flights were delayed.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-734, which was coming from Paris to Lahore, was diverted to Multan due to bad weather.
Private airline flight 674, which was going from Karachi to Islamabad, was called back to Karachi due to bad weather after departure.
Similarly, private airline flight ER-852, which was going from Jeddah to Peshawar, was diverted to Lahore due to bad weather.
Details of delayed flights
26 flights at Islamabad Airport were delayed by one to seven hours. 16 flights at Karachi Airport were delayed by one to five hours, while 7 flights from Karachi to Lahore were delayed by one to 10 hours.
Meanwhile, 12 flights at Lahore Airport were delayed by one to 14 hours, while 15 flights from Peshawar, Skardu, Quetta, Multan, and Sialkot were also affected.
