More than 100 cases of gastroenteritis are being reported in Civil Hospital

Karachi: There has been an increase in gastroenteritis and various stomach diseases in Karachi during the monsoon.
According to officials, 80 patients suffering from stomach diseases are coming to Jinnah Hospital every day, and more than 100 cases of gastroenteritis are being reported in the Civil Hospital.
Talking to the media, Emergency In-charge Jinnah Hospital Dr Irfan said that there has been a 20 to 30 percent increase in gastroenteritis cases due to contaminated water and the presence of flies everywhere.
Dr Irfan directed the citizens to avoid eating outside food, keep food and drink covered, and boil water before using it.
