Five World War memorials and rare shields were missing from the office


Karachi: A World War memorial and a rare shield were stolen from the historic Frere Hall in Karachi, and a case has been registered at the Artillery Maidan police station.
According to the details, police officials say that the case has been registered at the complaint of the Deputy Director of the Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) Parks Department.
According to the plaintiff, the Director General (DG) Parks Office is located on Fatima Jinnah Road, Frere Hall.
The plaintiff said that the office was closed during the Ashura holidays. When the office was opened after the holidays, the window at the back of the DG’s office was broken.
The plaintiff stated that five World War memorials and rare shields were missing from the office.
The plaintiff took the position that cables, copper, a DVD player, a speaker, and other items were also missing, and that an unknown person had stolen all the items.
The plaintiff in the case says that he kept searching for the lost items on his own but did not find any information. He claimed that the thief broke the window at the back of the DG's office and stole the items.
