Swati has been directed to appear at NAB office in connection with investigation into alleged embezzlement of Rs36bn in public funds

(Web Desk): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former federal minister Azam Swati to appear on July 17, with NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issuing official summons notices.
According to details, NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has summoned both Azam Swati and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly member Amjad Ali for investigation. Summons notices have been issued to both political figures.
As per the notice, Azam Swati has been directed to appear at the NAB Peshawar office on July 17 in connection with an investigation into the alleged embezzlement of Rs36 billion in public funds.
Meanwhile, MPA Amjad Ali has also been summoned for the same date. He is facing allegations of possessing assets beyond known sources of income.
NAB has instructed Amjad Ali to bring complete records of his assets and tax details for the investigation.
According to NAB sources, both individuals will be questioned based on these allegations, and further action will be determined based on the evidence and records they provide.
