Nearly 1,300 people have been relocated to safer areas

(Web Desk): Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in South Korea, severely disrupting daily life.
According to foreign media, the country is experiencing a continued spell of intense rainfall, which has flooded several areas and roads.
Authorities have described the rains as unseasonal and reported that so far, four people have died in various rain-related incidents, while nearly 1,300 people have been relocated to safer areas.
According to officials, two of the deceased were elderly individuals, both around 80 years old. The third person died after a wall collapsed, while the fourth fatality occurred due to a heart attack.
In addition, multiple people have been injured in various accidents caused by the heavy rainfall.
The meteorological agency stated that the city of Seosan, located along the country’s western coast, has been the most affected — receiving over 400 mm of rain in just half a day.
