Lahore Zoo announces 50% discount on key attractions to boost public access
Discounts aim to support families and rekindle public interest in zoo-based recreation

(Web Desk): In a citizen-friendly initiative, the Lahore Zoo administration has announced a 50% discount on several of its recreational facilities, aiming to offer financial relief and attract more visitors to one of the city’s most popular destinations.
While the zoo’s entry and parking fees remain unchanged, major attractions such as the Reptile House, Fish Aquarium, Holoverse, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality experiences will now be available at half the original price. Tickets for the Reptile House and Fish Aquarium have been reduced from Rs200 to Rs100. Holoverse, previously priced at Rs300, is now available for Rs150, while Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality tickets, originally Rs200 and Rs100 respectively, have also been slashed by 50%.
Although Holoverse and the virtual and mixed reality sections are currently closed for maintenance and sanitation, the administration has assured the public that these facilities will reopen soon after the necessary upgrades are completed.
The decision to revise ticket prices was approved by the Captive Wildlife Management Committee (CWMC) and reflects the zoo’s broader commitment to making nature-based entertainment more affordable and engaging for the public.
This move comes shortly after the private firm previously managing the zoo withdrew from its contract, leading the Lahore Zoo administration to take over full operational and ticketing responsibilities. Officials stated that the discounts aim to support families and rekindle public interest in zoo-based recreation.
