Death toll rises to 27 in Bangladesh Air Force training jet crash on school campus
Authorities in Bangladesh have formed an official committee to investigate the cause of the accident

(Web Desk): At least 27 people have been confirmed dead and over 170 injured after a Bangladesh Air Force training jet crashed onto a high school campus.
According to Bangladeshi media reports, the aircraft lost balance near a college building in Dhaka and crashed in the area of Uttara, located in the northern part of the capital.
The Public Relations Department of the Bangladesh Air Force confirmed the incident in a statement, stating that an F-7 BGI training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed in Uttara. The aircraft had taken off at 1:06 PM local time.
Videos circulating online showed a large fire near the college lawn, with thick black smoke rising from the site of the crash.
