Batting first, Pakistan scored 178 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs

(Web Desk): Pakistan defeated West Indies by 14 runs in the first match of the three-match T20 series.
The match was played in Lauderhill, a city in the US state of Florida, where West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 178 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Saim Ayub was the top scorer with 57 runs, while Fakhar Zaman contributed 28.
Additionally, Hasan Nawaz scored 24 runs, Faheem Ashraf made 16, and Sahibzada Farhan added 14. Captain Salman Ali Agha remained not out on 11, and Mohammad Haris was unbeaten on 6.
For West Indies, Shamar Joseph took 3 wickets, while Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, and Shepherd picked up one wicket each.
Chasing a target of 179 runs, the West Indies team could only manage 164 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz took 3 wickets, Saim Ayub took 2, while Shaheen Afridi and Sufiyan Muqeem claimed one wicket each.
Pakistan’s playing XI for the first T20 against West Indies included Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris (wicketkeeper), and captain Salman Ali Agha.
Also part of the playing eleven were Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Sufiyan Muqeem.
