(Web Desk): Afghan cargo vehicle drivers are now prohibited from entering Pakistan without a visa.
According to sources, Afghan cargo trucks will be allowed to operate under temporary entry documents until August 31, and a notification regarding this has also been issued.
As per the notification, the restriction has come into effect from today at all commercial border crossings with Afghanistan.
It is worth noting that a year ago, the Ministry of Commerce had granted Afghan drivers a grace period to obtain visas.
