Police officials stated that both suspects fled the scene

(Web Desk): In Jhang, a first-year college student was attacked by two suspects who broke into her home and threw acid on her, severely burning her face.
The victim, 17-year-old Bushra, was a resident of the Massan police station area in Jhang. Local police reported that the first-year student was in critical condition and has been moved to a local hospital.
Police officials stated that both suspects fled the scene. An investigation is underway to determine if the attack was motivated by a personal feud or harassment.
This follows another recent incident in Jhang where a female doctor, who had returned from Kyrgyzstan, was murdered for marrying a man of her choice.
Jhang police reported that Dr. Ayesha had returned from Kyrgyzstan a few days ago. She had a virtual wedding with Dr. Hasnain via video link.
According to the police, the victim's family was unhappy with the marriage. Dr. Ayesha was shot and killed by her brother, who then escaped. Police raids are being conducted to arrest the suspect.
