Sindh Excise and Taxation Department issues a formal notification regarding the extension


Karachi: On the instructions of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the deadline for installing security-featured number plates in Sindh has been extended from August 14 to October 31.
Bilawal Bhutto met with Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, who briefed him on the progress of updating vehicle number plates with advanced security features under the Safe City Project in Sindh. Chawla informed that the campaign to install these security plates has been accelerated and will help improve the province’s overall security situation.
In response, Bilawal Bhutto instructed the minister to extend the deadline to facilitate the public. Following this directive, Mukesh Chawla officially announced the extension of the deadline to October 31.
After the decision, the Sindh Excise and Taxation Department also issued a formal notification regarding the extension.
