Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has hinted at a possible meeting with US President Donald Trump in the United Arab Emirates.
This statement came during Putin’s meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in Moscow.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Putin said that several friendly countries are interested in arranging a meeting between him and Trump and are actively working to make it happen.
The Russian president stated that if such a meeting does occur, it will be based on mutual interests, and the UAE could serve as an appropriate venue.
It is worth noting that US President Trump has warned Russia that if a peace agreement on Ukraine is not reached by August 8, new sanctions will be imposed on Moscow.
