All those affected are said to be migrant workers from Asian countries who are employed in Kuwait

(Web Desk): Kuwait's Ministry of Health has reported that 13 people have died over the past five days due to consumption of methanol-laced alcohol, according to Arab media.
The toxic alcohol has also caused severe health complications, with 21 individuals losing their eyesight or suffering serious vision impairment.
The reports further state that after consuming the contaminated alcohol, 50 individuals required urgent kidney dialysis, while 31 needed artificial respiration.
All those affected are said to be migrant workers from Asian countries who are employed in Kuwait.
It is worth noting that alcohol import has been completely banned in Kuwait since 1964, and the production or sale of alcohol is also prohibited locally. However, illegal alcohol sales continue to take place, often leading to such tragic incidents.
