World rejects narrative of states that use terrorism for political gains: PM
He stated that Pakistan has always believed in power of multilateralism, dialogue, and diplomacy

Tianjin: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the world does not accept the false narrative of countries that use terrorism as a weapon for political interests.
Addressing the 25th SCO Heads of State Council meeting in Tianjin, China, the Prime Minister said that he is grateful to the President and Government of China for the wonderful hosting and comprehensive arrangements. The SCO is a reflection of Pakistan’s long-standing commitment to promoting regional cooperation and integration.
He stated that Pakistan has always believed in the power of multilateralism, dialogue, and diplomacy; nothing is more important for any country than sovereignty and territorial integrity, and Pakistan respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of SCO members and neighboring countries.

The Prime Minister added that CPEC is an excellent project between Pakistan and China. We respect all international and bilateral agreements. Unhindered access to water, as per the agreements, will further strengthen the objectives of the SCO.
Shehbaz Sharif further said that Pakistan wants normal relations with all its neighboring countries and is looking for dialogue and diplomacy for this. A comprehensive dialogue is needed for lasting peace in South Asia. All long-standing issues can be resolved through comprehensive dialogue.
Talking about the situation in Gaza, the Prime Minister said that the ongoing atrocities and hunger in Gaza are an unending wound on our collective conscience. Pakistan supports the two-state solution approved by the United Nations and reiterates the demand for an immediate end to the atrocities and bloodshed.
He also stated that Pakistan has made immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism. Terrorism, separatism, and extremism are a serious threat to the entire region. We condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The Prime Minister said that the world does not accept the false narratives of countries that use terrorism as a weapon for political interests. There is evidence of foreign involvement in terrorist attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Those responsible for heinous crimes and their facilitators must be held accountable.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Afghanistan is our brotherly neighboring country, and a stable Afghanistan is not only in our interest but also in the interest of the entire region.
