8,933 teams are participating in anti-polio campaign


Quetta: Anti-polio campaign has been launched in 26 districts of Balochistan, including high-risk districts of polio.
According to Emergency Operation Center (EOC) officials, the anti-polio campaign has started in 26 districts of Balochistan from today, with a target of vaccinating 2.179 million children in the campaign.
According to the EOC, 8,933 teams are participating in the anti-polio campaign, 652 fixed, and 459 transit teams will also administer polio drops to children in the campaign.
According to officials, strict security arrangements have also been made for the polio teams.
These districts include Quetta, Pishin, Chaman, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, Hub, Jafarabad, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Khuzdar, Loralai, Mastung, Noshki, Nasirabad, Sherani, Sibi, Sohbatpur, Aosta Muhammad, Zhob, Musakhel, Chagai, Duki, Lasbela, and Ziarat.
