Islamabad: The "Joint Commemoration, Co-painting Peace" China-Pakistan Children's Painting Competition Exhibition kicked off at the National Council of the Arts in Islamabad.
The event was sponsored by the China Cultural Center in Pakistan and organized by the Pakistan Chinese Language Education Association, in collaboration with the China-Pakistan Education and Culture Center and the University of the Punjab.
The exhibition aims to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Around 200 guests attended, including senior officials and dignitaries from both China and Pakistan.
The exhibition features 300 works in various forms, including fine arts and calligraphy, created by children from both countries. After the exhibition in Islamabad, the artworks will be showcased at the University of the Punjab as part of a touring exhibition.
